Ice Tea in the Kitchen

'Iced Tea' is the latest contestant for the new wall color in the kitchen. At least that's what we think. We decided this past weekend that we really liked the wall color in the Frederick Panera Bread Co. We had taken swatches in with us, but none of them quite matched. Yesterday I went to Home Depot and picked up every orange colored swatch of Behr paint that they had.

I was down in Gaithersburg, so I went to Panera there. Wouldn't you know that their walls were yellow and red. I ran around the store like a mad woman eyeing up every wall in hopes that one was painted orange. Nope.

Last night I stopped at the Frederick Panera with my swatches in tow and I couldn't believe it, but the 'Iced Tea' swatch was the winner. We were really surprised as it has much more of a brown tone in it than orange. I'll be pasting it on the wall in our kitchen and eyeing it up for the next few days while I try to decide. Why must picking a color be so difficult?
