Yes, the Case of the Mysterious Doorbell is most definitely solved, the doorbell is broken. It doesn't need new batteries, it doesn't need to be kicked around, it doesn't need to be tweaked, it needs to be replaced.

This means it's time to surf - surf the web that is. As I surfed through the Home Depot site in search of something different and unique, I found the perfect new doorbell. And I quote:
